No recovery, no fee.  Never any upfront costs or fees.  Mr. Arnold’s cases are taken on a “contingency” (percentage of recovery) basis.  A typical fee arrangement would be a 33 1/3% fee if recovery is made before a lawsuit is filed, and a 40% fee if collection is made after a lawsuit needed to be filed.  (Although no rule establishes these fees, this is the standard fee arrangement in the field.)  Some cases might be a higher or lower percentage based on special circumstances.  The client and Mr. Arnold will sign a simple, understandable one page fee contract at the first meeting.  Mr. Arnold will pay all legal expenses of the case up front but will be reimbursed when recovery is made from the gross recovery.
